Prünent

Valli Ossolane DOC Nebbiolo Superiore

image

Prünent is the flagship of the local wine production, the backbone of our land. Prünent is an ancient type of Nebbiolo born in the mountain: indeed the first document that mentions it dates back to 1309. It is mostly produced with secular ungrafted grapes. This wine preserves the uniqueness and elegance that characterise the wine productions at this latitude.

Prünent Diecibrente

Valli Ossolane DOC Nebbiolo Superiore

image

All Prünent grapes come from a hundred-year-old vineyard that we cultivate in Pello di Trontano. We only produce a small amount of Prünent – 2628 bottles. Brenta is an old unit of measurement used for wine and it indicates a wooden container used to transport it. Prünent is a silky and satisfying wine with fresh sour hints that confirm the vineyard’s DNA.

Cà d’Maté

Valli Ossolane DOC Rosso

image

This wine is named after the old cellar built in 1598 used for the ageing of our wines. Nebbiolo and Croatina blend gives life to an authentic entrancing fragrant wine whose palate is complex and dynamic.

Tarlàp

Valli Ossolane DOC Rosso

100% Merlot. The grapes are mostly cultivated in Calice, a hamlet of Domodossola, where the Oratory of Madonna del Tarlàp is located. In local dialect, tarlàp means ‘a sip’ and the Madonna protects the vineyards from any tragedy.

Munaloss

Vino Rosso

An elegant wine with a bright colour. In Munaloss variable percentages of the typical Ossola's varieties are blended according to the vintage. Its mouthfeel is fruity and expressive endowed with an engaging drinkability combined with a pounding rhythm.

La Gera

Valli Ossolane DOC Bianco

This wine is produced with Chardonnay grapes cultivated in a vineyard in Gera, a hamlet located on the way from Crevoladossola to Oira. In local dialect, gera means ‘stony ground’ and our vineyards precisely grow on this type of ground.
